Each machine which Hyster sells goes through a nine stage development process from initial concept and design to the manufacturing and selling of the machine. Each and every stage of the development process has been created to ensure product quality over the machine's lifetime. Hyster testing centers can simulate the life cycle of a lift truck in order to make sure that the equipment performs as designed and that it lasts.

In order to be sure that we know what our customers really want, Hyster performs a lot of research concerning customer needs. All this research is then used to the products design.
